OP&S-ZEIT-ECE 5 is a special development for the new generation of Palm size und Handheld PC powered by Windows CE. If you know Microsoft Windows you already know how to work with Windows CE. It provides a simple to use surface that makes it easy to enter information.
The Windows CE devices are lightweight and extremly portable. Taking your data whereever you go has never been so easy. Synchronizing all data with your Windows-based desktop or laptop computer is automatically done while recharging the Windows CE device in its docking station. ActiveSync technology ensures that all your information is easily kept up to date.
Enter the information simply by writing or typing on the touch-sensitive screen with the stylus. Or use the keyboard when you are working with a Handheld PC. You can run OP&S-ZEIT-ECE on all types and all brands of Palm-top computers powered by Windows CE. It supports all display types and sizes.
You will use OP&S-ZEIT-ECE as an mobile extension to the Windows-based application OP&S-ZEIT-AUF II when you have to show extreme mobility while collecting data. OP&S-ZEIT-ECE is designed to carry out and analyze time studies and allowance time studies and to collect real time data in all production and management processes.
Other possiblities of use are, for example, assessment of damage before repair and recording items of an order in the building and construction trade.
To prepair for the data collection you store standard descriptions of all events you want to record with their variants in a database in OP&S-ZEIT-AUF II. Based on this standards statistical analysis of the data and processing standard time formulas and tables is easily done.
You can record elements which change their order (sequential) as well as those who are repeated in a regular order (cyclical). When recording a cycle you have to define the elements of the cycle as well as the start and end element. While time taking is carried out, the work sequences can alternate between regular and irregular sequences.
It’s no problem to record additional elements for individual work and team work, multiple activity and multiple machine operation. All kinds of interruptions are recorded separately and are documented in the data file. On the screen the interrupted element is marked. To get information about the last measurements during the data collection open the protocol window.
It shows each recorded element with cumulative time, time per unit, performance rate and influence factors with values.
The evaluation of recorded data can be started even during the time taking. It contains a summary of time types and elements.
For detailed analysis you use OP&S-ZEIT-AUF II after transferring the data from the Windows CE device to the desktop computer. In order to process standard time formulas and tables you will use OP&S-ZEIT-AUF II.
The original form of a time study is stored in a separate original data file that can only be printed but not edited. An identification of the Windows CE device is stored in the data file as well. This enables you to assign each data file to the device with which it was recorded.
The number of recordable work cycles, elements or influence factors and values is not restricted.
